Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was really hoping for better, but Dr. C was a disappointment. I went in wanting to understand my 5y.o meds and care, but was met with unprofessionalism, negligence and dismissal. This is after asking thoughtful questions and requested clarification after she forgot to schedule us for follow-up. She forgot to schedule a 3-week follow-up after prescribing my 5y.o's first medication, and when I got an appt with her she just apologized and said she understands if we might not be a good fit- that was it. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. When I brought up my concerns for communication to make sure I was heard and supported, she got defensive instead of working with me. I told her about my son's experience on the medication since there was never a follow-up, and she completely did not care at this point and asked us if 'there's anything else she can do for us, but she doesn't want to work with us anymore'.. I see now I wasn't a good fit for her because I want to fully support my son, so I ask questions to make informed decisions. Every parent deserves to be heard and respected, and that just didn't happen here. I hope others find a doctor who's actually a partner in their child's care and not worried about their ego and prioritizes consistent communication and has the bandwidth to work with involved parents.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having her along this healing journey is beyond that I can ask for.. she listens and the gently gathers you together, she always gives you tools to use to navigate life’s journey.. Being vulnerable, being transparent, combatting what we may view as weakness, and fear of facing the unknown face first and healing! I struggled with this myself, I even had a panic attack prior to coming to my first session with Dr. LaRhonda Harmon from the very first session saw me when I was so invisible to even myself… I was a battered spirit and even through my imposter syndrome of my own talents, she helps me see me for me through my own eyes. I never saw myself in therapy, heck I thought I was fine until I needed it! I prayed and asked God(for who He is to me to show me my therapist) God led me to My Dr. LaRhonda and she’s been part of my life ever since. It’s been now 5 years of consistent therapy with Dr. LaRhonda, my life is forever elevated. I’m a strong confident extraordinary artist black woman ! And I can say that with confidence because the work Dr. LaRhonda has me doing. She’s no, “yes man” therapist , she’s the real deal ! If you want to heal whatever it is and you stumbled across this woman, it wasn’t by accident, you were brought here on purpose by the Holy Spirit ! THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO BOOK ! I was calling for my husbands medication to be transferred over to Walmart instead of Acme. I have called for the past 3 days very calmly and I was only repeating what my husband had told me for this. Instead Tanya was extremely rude and speaking over me when I was trying to tell her my husband was at work. She was asking constantly if my husband was with me and I kept trying to repeat myself. Mind you I do have a mental health issue but for the fact that I am completely overwhelmed and you do not know my story or who I am or what I have been through YOU OUT OF ALL PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW HOW TO BE CALM COOL AND COLLECTIVE!!! After sending documents that were requested of me the same day they were requested, I've yet to hear back from anyone, and I've followed up by email, phone and text with no response. It's been almost two weeks. That's very concerning to me considering I was reaching out for help while going through a very difficult time. I've been fighting to get my bill in order for over a month. When I call the owner is rude and talks in circles. This place will give you anxiety. I was better off before using this service. Some doctors make you feel like one must think or act a certain way and with her I felt like I could be myself while still managing my mental health.

Dr. Ngozi Chiekwu has been so amazing and helpful to me. I know that this is more than a job for her. She truly cares about people. Dr. Ngozi is kind, passionate, caring, and easy to talk to. She listens to my needs and wants as a client and provides and fulfills the necessary treatment goals. I am very grateful. Lady Ngozi is the best psych NP or psychiatrist I have ever been to. She immediately made the needed changes to my medication. I couldn’t work before I started seeing (more than 2 years without work) and now I have a job!
I wanted to wait until I had an appt with everyone in the office before leaving a review. There’s an intake specialist (Jessica), a counselor (Julie), and then the Dr (Dr. Ngozi). They ALL were wonderful. I enjoy how they all work together to come up with a treatment plan for you. They move effectively in helping diagnose. The doctor even uses a cognitive assessment test to gauge why you may have certain behaviors. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a practice that treats the whole person!
Dr. Ngozi is the best. Her willingness to accommodate you is outstanding. Her mannerism makes you feel very comfortable. She listens and is very caring. My first experience was a great one, and I am very excited to be getting good care. I also must mention my therapist Julie Murphy. I have never felt so comforted by a therapist before. She listens, gives you direction and suggestions, which you need when dealing with anxiety. You can tell that she wants to help you and that she is there for you. Thank. I have finally been blessed with a great team. Thank you both.
Dr. Cheikwu is the best Dr. I have had for the past year, or so she listens and regulates the medicine directly for me especially. She cares and takes time in her sessions. She may not always give you everything you want, but she makes sure to keep your psych in mind and how to help you control whatever issue you have. She’s great. I love her, and I recommend her. She’s easy to get an appointment with and takes most insurance—a very laid-back, sweet yet busy lady. Be happy and lucky if you get her. ☺☺☺☺😀😝 shes helped me 😚through a lot.
